Exactly. Not the end of the world. But I think that there is a great deal of anxiety produced by the prospect in many people, anyway; it's classic FOMO, and I think Medium is manipulating it and, perversely, bullying people into the exact follow-for-follow behavior that is toxic to their platform.

Doesn't seem all that healthy. But I don't expect big corporations to care too much about stuff like that.
