Thank you for this. I mentioned this to a previous commenter but the bridge here is not entirely new - some of the principles I have stumbled across, here, are ones that I have heard expressed elsewhere. The first time I stumbled across the principle of iteration, for example, was in a comment by a scholar on the cyclical nature of composition. He likened it to sculpture, which is a great example, and which also illustrates a subtler point; these principles aren't just a bridge between the two art forms I covered here. Rather, they bridge all art -- the progression from vision to achievement always goes through the brain first, before it reaches any other medium, and that is the place where all art forms find themselves connected.
