I just finished a story five minutes ago where I name dropped Tim Denning.

Writing about a popular writer to gain cred for yourself is called dick riding. Nothing screams noob like a Denning dick ride story. Nobody cares what you learned from the human embodiment of 10,000 monkeys typing for 10,000 years.
